Who we are

Since 1998 Cruise Ship Glass has been dedicated to serving the glass needs of cruise ships.  Our name says what we do - we repair glass on cruise ships.

Experience.  We work on over 100 different cruise ships, both while in service and in dry dock.

Our people. The combination of our trained staff and extensive experience insure that all work is conducted in a professional manner that meets or exceeds the original design and safety specifications of the ship, as well as meeting all class regulations.

Locations.  Vancouver, Miami, Freeport (container workshop), and Southampton (2010). With multiple locations we can provide continuous service to vessels as they move from port to port

What we do

The glass and window needs of a cruise ship cover a wide range of applications with diverse and complex regulations governing how they are produced, installed and serviced. We repair all types glass.  This ranges from antique mirror, glass doors, and table tops, to heated bridge windows.  These have been grouped by category on our home page.

Window repairs.  To original specification, and class requirement.

Refurbishment.  We have developed a class approved system to rebuild and refurbish exterior windows, providing big savings in cost, shipping, and wait time as well as environmental benefits.

Interior glass.  To original specification. We manufacture and supply replacement glass doors, antique mirrors, curved railing glasses – in short, any broken glass on the ship.

Laminating.  We have our own laminating plant, in Vancouver.

Art work.  We have our own in house art department, where we do sandblasting, etching, gold foil, painting, stained glass repairs etc.

Where we work

Offices.  We provide global service from our offices in Vancouver, Canada, Ft. Lauderdale. U.S.A., Freeport, Bahamas (container workshop), and Southampton (2010).

Dry docks. We work at all the major dry docks in Europe, the Americas and Asia.

Emergencies.  We provide worldwide emergency service and repairs.  We can provide temporary replacement to insure safety standards are maintained, and final repairs - all in a timely manner.

Compliance and documentation

Class Approvals.  Without exception, all the work we do meets or exceeds the regulatory requirements and original specifications.  All work completed by CSG is documented with certificates of compliance, which is given to each ship for their records.

Data base.  We have a 41gb database of photographs, specifications, and sizes of glass on every ship we have worked on.  This is a private gallery that we use to evaluate all work, and can be made available to existing customers, to assist them in their glass needs.

Glass maintenance.  We work closely with the all cruise line staff to insure that the glass on each ship is up to the highest standards.  We approach our business with each cruise ship as an on going relationship, by working closely to advise and provide service to repair and maintain all the glass systems on board.
